Notes
'Etienne Beaulieu' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Etienne Beaulieu') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double white flowers have a row of center petals with a fine red edge. Yellow stamens give a glow from deep inside each bloom. The flowers smell pleasant, and sturdy stems grow to 36 inches (90 cm).
Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Indian grass, and Grape hyacinth.
