Notes

'Eunice Shaylor' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Eunice Shaylor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, rose-pink blooms have a pale creamy center and a tea-rose fragrance. Flowers open in mid to late spring and early summer on strong, medium tall plants. Egbert Jerome Shaylor bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, New England aster, and Sedge.
