Notes

'Europa' peony (Paeonia 'Europa') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears large cream-yellow double flowers with a soft amber-pink glow. Side buds prolong the bloom, and the heavy petals help the cut flowers last. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
