Notes
'Evan Saul' coneflower (Echinacea 'Evan Saul') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Russet-orange petals surround a dark brown center cone from early to late summer. The blooms are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Picture peony, and Chocolate sunflower.
