Notes

'Evelyn Fison' rose (Rosa 'Evelyn Fison') is a compact shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red, fragrant blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Samuel Darragh bred it in 1962.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Blue grama, and Clematis.
