Notes
'Evening Glow' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Evening Glow') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers open seashell-pink with white edges and age to white in early to mid spring. Tall, erect stems reach about 30 inches. George Hollis bred it in 1907.
Pairs well with Carnaval De Nice tulip, Cinnamon fern, and American spikenard.
