Notes

'Everlite' sedge (Carex oshimensis 'Everlite') is a grass for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows as a clumping evergreen about 12 inches tall, so it keeps its color through winter. It is drought tolerant and attracts bees and birds.

Pairs well with Midnight Rose coral bells, Black hellebore, and Red-barked dogwood.
