Notes

'Fair Rosamond' clematis (Clematis 'Fair Rosamond') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The white blooms have red bars and purple stamens, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. George Jackman & Son bred it in 1871.

Pairs well with Mountain laurel, Switchgrass, and Blue wild indigo.
