Notes

'Fancy Nancy' peony (Paeonia 'Fancy Nancy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The soft cerise pink flowers are fragrant, have a Japanese form, and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Halcyon hosta, Charles Joly lilac, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
