Notes

'Fanny Bell Niggeman' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fanny Bell Niggeman') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white single flowers have slightly ruffled petals and a slightly cup shaped form. Each plant bears 5 to 6 blossoms on strong stems above dark green foliage. Robert F. Schmidt bred it, and it first bloomed in 1982.

Pairs well with Orange daylily, Royal fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
