Notes

'Fanny' false shamrock (Oxalis triangularis 'Fanny') is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It forms a clumping mound about 8 inches tall and bears light blue-violet flowers in summer and autumn that attract butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. K. v.d. Meer bred it.

Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Mondo grass, and Azalea.
