Notes

'Fanny Lee' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fanny Lee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The medium to large rose-red blooms open in mid to late spring and into early summer. Their shade is close to American Beauty red. Judge Laurence A. Vories bred it, and the plant and stems are good.

Pairs well with Orange daylily, Sensitive fern, and Black Parrot tulip.
