Notes

'Fans' peony (Paeonia 'Fans') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant pink flowers are semi-double and measure 6 to 8 inches across. Petals start cerise pink at the base and fade to soft pink at the edges.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Black Parrot tulip.
