Notes

'Faribault' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Faribault') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The rose-red blooms are a distinctive deep rose. The petal tips shade to silvery white, which gives each flower a soft, two-toned look. Cut a few stems for a vase and enjoy them indoors.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Black Hero tulip.
