Notes

'Favorita' peony (Paeonia 'Favorita') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, orange-red flowers are single with two rows of petals, and the stiff stems stand up well. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Nodding onion.
