Notes

'Feathered Porcelain' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Feathered Porcelain') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white semi-double blooms are fragrant and open in early to mid spring. Rounded guard petals surround ruffled, feathered inner petals. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and the dark green foliage has good stem strength.

Pairs well with Sensitive fern, Spanish bluebell, Fragrant sumac, and Blue sage.
