Notes

'Federica Ambrosini' peony (Paeonia 'Federica Ambrosini') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large pink semi-double flowers fade to light pink and cream yellow, and the upright stems need no support. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and Goldsturm black-eyed Susan.
