Notes
'Festiva Powder Puff' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Festiva Powder Puff') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, fluffy, fully double blooms open light pink with cherry-red streaks and age to white. The flowers are fragrant and appear mid-season. Stems are strong, so the plants hold up well when cut.
Pairs well with American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Western sword fern.
