Notes

'Festival Queen' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Festival Queen') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double blooms have a pure white collar and crown around a yellow center. They open almost as early as those of the hybrid peonies. Eugene H. Lins bred it.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Prairie dropseed, and Alaska violet.
