Notes
'Fez' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fez') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double blooms are old rose pink and fade lighter on the tips. The blooms are large, so they make a bold show in a vase. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it in 1939.
Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Cinnamon fern.
