Notes

Finger lime (Citrus australasica) is a fruit for food gardens, containers, and borders. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows as a small tree or a shrub with fragrant white flowers. The long fruit hold tiny juicy beads that people call lime caviar. You can sprinkle them on desserts, salads, or Asian dishes, or mix them in cocktails.

Pairs well with Guava, Rosemary, and Pistachio.
