Notes

'Emerol' finger lime (Citrus australasica 'Emerol') is a small tree or shrub for the food garden, grown for its fruit. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. Give it full sun. Fragrant white flowers open in early to late summer. Long fruits follow, filled with tiny pearls of lime flavor. You can sprinkle them on desserts, salads, or Asian dishes, or mix them in cocktails.

Pairs well with Lemon grass, Angelonia, and Hass avocado.
