Notes

'Pink Pearl' finger lime (Citrus australasica 'Pink Pearl') is a shrub or small tree for the food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. Give it full sun. Fragrant white flowers open in early to late summer. The long fruit hold pink to red pearls that taste mild and slightly bitter with a grapefruit finish, so it is grown for cocktails and salads.

Pairs well with Hass avocado, Hachiya persimmon, and Capers.
