Notes

'Fire Ribbon' peony (Paeonia 'Fire Ribbon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The red, fragrant flowers have a Japanese type form and attract butterflies and bees. Arthur L. Murawska bred it.

Pairs well with Stained Glass hosta, Blue grama, Nodding onion, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
