Notes

'Fireball' rose (Rosa 'Fireball') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers, and it also works as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant has dark green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms that appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Rob Somerfield bred it in 2017.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Blue grama, and Salal.
