Notes

'Firebelle' peony (Paeonia 'Firebelle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant semi-double red flowers bloom early on tall stems, and you can cut the stems long without hurting the foliage. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Stargazer lily, and Blue grama.
