Notes
'Fireflame' peony (Paeonia 'Fireflame') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The bright pink flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.
Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Bobo hydrangea.
