Notes

'Fireworks' clematis (Clematis 'Fireworks') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The pink sepals have mauve edges and look striped. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. John Treasure bred it, and it is a cross of 'Maureen' and 'Nelly Moser'. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
