Notes

'First Dance' peony (Paeonia 'First Dance') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Extremely early single flowers are lavender-pink with purple veining and a strong, pleasant fragrance. The plant grows low and broad, so it needs no support. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
