Notes
'First Memory' garden speedwell (Veronica longifolia 'First Memory') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Anzac daylily, Gardenview Scarlet spotted beebalm, and Baltic parsley.
