Notes

'Spike' cut-leaf kittentail (Veronica 'Spike') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bright blue flowers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Stargazer lily, Shirley Temple peony, and Little Lime panicle hydrangea.
