Notes

'Georgia Blue' speedwell (Veronica peduncularis 'Georgia Blue') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Blue flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies visit them. The low, evergreen mats spread at a moderate pace. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Prairie dropseed, and Sarah Bernhardt peony.
