Notes

'Fizzy' peony (Paeonia 'Fizzy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, light yellow, semi-double flowers have petal edges that look cut with pinking shears, which inspired the name. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and the upright plants reach 33 inches without needing support.

Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Switchgrass, and August Moon hosta.
