Notes

'Flame Coral' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Flame Coral') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The clumping plants stay 12 to 24 inches tall.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Plum Royale coral bells, and Dense blazing star.
