Notes

'Flame White Eye' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Flame White Eye') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The plant forms a tidy clump that stays 12 to 24 inches tall.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Plum Royale coral bells, and Dense blazing star.
