Notes
'Flamingo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Flamingo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pink flowers are semi-double with glowing pink guards and pink stigmas. Fine stems carry distinctive foliage that grows thickly. Darwin M. Andrews bred it.
Pairs well with American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Western sword fern.
