Notes

'Flammentanz' rose (Rosa 'Flammentanz') is a climbing shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Kordes bred it in 1955. It bears fragrant crimson blooms that attract butterflies and bees. Dark green, leathery leaves cover the tall canes.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Feather reed grass, and Casa Blanca lily.
