Notes
'Flora MacDonald' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Flora MacDonald') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are single and a deep amaranthine-purple. Kelway bred it, so you can enjoy a classic look in the garden or in a vase.
Pairs well with Miss Kim lilac, American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, and Royal fern.
