Notes

'Forrest's Pink' yulan magnolia (Magnolia denudata 'Forrest's Pink') is a tree for specimen planting, accent, borders, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense shape, so give it plenty of room. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Siebold's hosta, Bigleaf hydrangea, Lily of the valley, and Christmas fern.
