Notes

'Forum Romanum' peony (Paeonia 'Forum Romanum') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double flowers open salmon-pink and fade to blush, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Stems reach about 33 inches, so give the spreading plants some support.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Little bluestem, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Paprika yarrow.
