Notes

'Foxtail' rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus 'Foxtail') is an herb for containers, rock gardens, hedges, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. Its arching stems stay evergreen and fragrant, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. It tolerates drought and salt. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Thyme, and Kent Beauty oregano.
