Notes

'Roman Beauty' rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus 'Roman Beauty') is a shrub for borders, containers, food gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall with an arching habit and stays evergreen all year. Violet-blue flowers open in spring and summer, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them.

Pairs well with Olive, Ice plant, and Mondo grass.
