Notes

'Fraîcheur' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fraîcheur') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms are blush with salmon-pink undertones and have a mild fragrance. They open from late spring to early summer on upright plants with light green foliage. Victor Lemoine & Sons bred it.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Charles Joly lilac, and Royal fern.
