Notes

'Frans Hals' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Frans Hals') is a perennial for borders, containers, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Its fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
