Notes

'Free Spirit' rose (Rosa 'Free Spirit') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 24 to 28 inches tall and bears fragrant apricot blooms. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Leslie E. Strawn bred it in 1985.

Pairs well with Clary sage, Little bluestem, Ornamental onion, and Jackmanii clematis.
