Notes

'French Vanilla' aloalo (Hibiscus 'French Vanilla') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It flowers in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Stonecrop, and Rosemary.
