Notes
'Fresca' strawberry (Fragaria ananassa 'Fresca') is a fruit for food gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows 6 to 12 inches tall and forms a clump up to 24 inches wide. Bees visit the flowers in early to late spring. The leaves stay green through the year.
Pairs well with Berggarten sage, Georgia Peach coral bells, and Angelica.
