Notes

'Friendship' peony (Paeonia 'Friendship') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink blooms have white edges on the petals, and bees and butterflies visit them. Elizabeth Glasscock Falk bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Paprika yarrow, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
