Notes

'Fringed Elegance' tulip (Tulipa 'Fringed Elegance') is a bulb for borders, containers, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The yellow-green blooms open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. Johan C. van Reisen bred it, and the fringed petals add texture to a bouquet.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Woodstock common hyacinth, Yellow Cheerfulness daffodil, and Purple Prince tulip.
