Notes

'Fringed Ivory' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fringed Ivory') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ivory white double flowers have fringed inner petals and show their stamens. They are mildly fragrant and open in midseason. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 1989, and the stems stay strong.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Smooth aster, and Incrediball hydrangea.
